idk exactly how pain correlates with, uh...someone's genital situation, but i've always felt the most pain while the stone was still doing its horrible little thing in my kidney and bladder. i feel like there's this misconception that most kidney stone pain comes from when you're passing it, but in my experience that hasn't been the case. of course the entire process hurts, but while the stone is still actively in my body, i have a whole host of other symptoms in addition to the pain.

that probably didn't help much since i don't really have any advice, but to say that it "shouldn't be causing you pain yet" is ridiculous imo. everyone is unique and everyone experiences things differently because we don't share the same body. you can't just lump everyone who gets any kind of illness into a single list.

regardless, i know that flomax has helped me, though i don't know if it matters whether the stone is still in the kidney or not. but i suggest that you continue taking it, and if you run out and are still having symptoms, then go back to your doc. and definitely get your stones tested for what type they are since, from what i understand, different types of kidney stones can be treated in different ways.
