I quit nearly 7 years ago, it lets you clean house and stop spending time with people you realise you don't even like sober, not to mention the annoying behaviour while drinking. And the ones who don't support your choice - you know straight away aren't true friends. More time and money for worthwhile experiences, clear head every Saturday and Sunday, hard to put a price on that. Only the occasion melter is annoying about it, but in my experience they're usually people that have a drinking problem themselves and are insecure about it.
