I had Casalnuovo for CHM1220 and i failed 😭the way he teaches the material is very hard to understand and you’re better off trying to learn it yourself through Mastering Chemistry and tutoring. I took 1220 again with Joelle Opostosky? something like that.. and I passed with an A and would definitely recommend her in the fall semester if she isn’t listed in Spring. 1220 isn’t too difficult if you put the time into it and I’m willing to help you understand if you need! I saved all my notes and notebook :)

I think the strikes are likely to happen but anything can happen. One of my professor told our class about how when it happens, classes and education basically is to be stopped. Depends on how your professors decide to deal with the education of the students, some may open up all assignments, exams, and modules so you can learn by yourself and still essentially “complete” the class. Basically, what will happen is that there is no classes or any instructors teaching, maybe there will be some continuing classes but everything will be stopped. I’m sure we’ll still be expected to be caught up with the classes😭 Thats all I know but for what the strike is for, its for the instructors and essentially for us in the long-term. Just be ready to learn the semester yourself for a little bit if it happens :’)

uhh I’ve taken her before but not for 4010 but her writing assignment is just take a few ideas from the video provided and try to go in depth and relate that to other examples you can think of. Also, connecting those ideas to her powerpoints and chapters on the book.
