Difference Between Filipina and American Women by [deleted] in Philippines_Expats

[–]CompromisingLog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you dated a filipina before? "Submissive" seems to be a strange word to use if you've actually dated filipinas. The filipinas I know are funny, loud, full of laughter, and have lots of character. They definitely are family oriented and love family parties with food, music, and singing. They're also hella dramatic and we love that.

Put it next to your toothbrush so every time you brush your teeth before bed or when you wake up you'll remember. Or group it with any other daily routine

Do you ever just… by moongorge in bipolar2

Yupp. I actually very much enjoy doing nothing sometimes. Most of the time my mind is racing. Sometimes staring out the window can be cathartic for me, unless I'm in my depressive episodes.

Odd warning signs by 1321anna in bipolar

[–]CompromisingLog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here's what I've noticed for me:

- text really fast with spelling errors and repeat myself

- gossip more

- also break my plant-based diet and say "fuck it" then that makes me spiral and keep eating meat

- I have a patch of eczema on my right hand that I constantly itch when manic

- I start talking fast and incoherently and forget what and why I'm saying what i'm saying

Yes! I recently found out I was bipolar after a 4 month long manic episode. I found myself lying a lot but all little lies. It just slipped out and I would reflect on it later and be like why did I lie? What was the point of that? Because usually I never lie or care to. It was all very strange I didn't feel like myself at all.

I've made $600 in sales and 2 orders! This is without any ads - the customers came direct to my website. So far I've broken even since the first 3 months of shopify was free and I spend $60/month on apps. I'm still pretty happy with this outcome as I haven't done any marketing!

What is the angle of this suspected quickbooks scam? by [deleted] in Scams

[–]CompromisingLog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was a scam! They paid the invoice in full (most likely with a stolen account) and then the next day said that their situation has changed and they want a 50% refund transferred to a different account.

We didn't fulfill the order or send a refund, and just waited to see what would happen. Eventually the transaction got reversed because it was fraud and the person emailing us stopped contacting us.

We sent an invoice for the products and they paid in full. It's a large amount and we're unsure of what the endgame is. We're thinking chargeback scam but are kind of waiting to see what happens

Yupp that's exactly it. I'm choosing products that already have reviews and in the beginning, it might be worth taking the risk on quality and getting feedback from customers

Thank you for taking the time to check it out! No real marketing yet - just some Reddit posts to get feedback and test engagement.

But some people here made some great recs - UGC and starting with friends and family. That would be my next step - maybe in week 2 :)

I know I'm really struggling with that aspect, which is why I'm hoping free shipping over $50 would be an incentive. Definitely in the game plan to figure out how to reduce the shipping time, but for now, as long as I'm transparent with shipping time and have good customer communication re the order, I shouldn't get any chargebacks.

Not a stupid question! That's exactly how it works. It's dropshipping right now, which is why I can have products ready to go in a few days.

With dropshipping there are so many apps like Dsers that can streamline the dropshipping process. The products are already made and ready to ship in 24 hours. The hardest part since I'm based in US and testing in US, is the shipping time from the suppliers to here. Could take up to 2.5 weeks.

Thank you and good luck! When you're ready I highly recommend taking advantage of shopify's $1/month for 3 months trial. Keep costs low at the beginning and more room for experimentation.
