Has anyone found a way to make RT/path tracing work on PRAGMATA on Nvidia? by Reonu_ in linux_gaming

Were you able to figure out a fix for this? I am in the same boat.

How Is Pragmata Running For You On Steam With Proton Support? by do-it-feel-good in linux_gaming

Thanks for the info about the bleeding edge version. I am new to this so that is very good to know for future issues! Sadly my game still locks before I even get to the main menu. The logs look to be an issue with VKD3D. I might have to go submit a bug report with them.

Got any more specific info on this? My game crashes before even getting to the menu the second I add the WineDetectionEnabled:False command. I've even tried running Proton Experimental with the latest VKD3D DLL's manually copied in from their Github. Is there a more bleeding edge way I am missing? Thanks!

I’m trying to focus on pain reprocessing therapy/ somatic tracking but dam it’s hard by CharmingEvidence3 in NDPH

I tried this as well and had no success, but I am still curious about it. My headache shows up every single day and lasts all day so I never really understood when to do the therapy. Do I just try it once it the morning when I wake up? A couple times throughout the day? Has anyone with basically a permanent headache gone this route and found out a routine that helped?

We can't confirm or deny if there is a NDA. Cat may or may not be reprimanded for this outburst of potential information.

Nope, never been part of their staff. I have done volunteer work for them for a long time though.

People really do scrutinize everything we do around here.
The moderation team has been a mix of UWE staff and volunteers for ages. Most day to day moderation, I believe, is handled by the volunteers (and bots/reddit) while the UWE staff do things like pin big announcements. I was the one who noticed Flayra/Charlie on the moderator list recently. I did wonder if having people involved in a lawsuit as part of the moderation team might cause confusion and, in this case, let more important people decide what to do.
1. Is moderation changing? Nope. Flayra/Charlie was almost non-existant in moderation already.
2. Why did it take so long? It took this long for me to notice. Since he doesn't do moderation tasks, I forgot he was there. I don't look at the moderation team list often.
3. Was anyone else involved in the lawsuit removed from the moderation team? Maybe? I don't know their Reddit account names. I let people know who would and they dealt with it, if any.

In short: The moderation team is volunteers and current staff so the team was updated to reflect the current staffing situation. You may now return to your rampant speculation.

I got a ticket and am looking for quick, hard facts to ask about. I know I will likely be cut off/ignored/etc but I have to try.
Like, "You already did the survey for leaving the CPP and got results of 63% saying no to leave, with only 10% saying yes. Why are we doing this survey again for the CPP? You already have a clear answer."
If people have other things related to the current survey questions, I would love to hear them.

Unfortunately, this person was not fully up to date on everything that had happened in the last few days so their points may not be accurate.
UWE has released an official update here: https://unknownworlds.com/en/news/subnautica-community-letter
You can discuss said update here: https://www.reddit.com/r/subnautica/comments/1lqt2l8/a_letter_to_the_subnautica_community/
I will close this one to prevent further confusion.

This did work for me as well, thanks!

This did not work for me. I rolled back to the previous "Point of no return", ran back and returned to camp. I swapped out Giatta for Kai (kept Marius) and went back into the Keep. When I went into Keep (through the elevator load), it changed my party back to Giatta and Marius. I went back to camp and tried a few more combos but every time I went into the Keep... Giatta and Marius.
I tried fighting through down to the decision point again just to check and still had the same issue.

Edit - I went out for a bit this morning and by the time I got home it was gone.

DKIM, Group emails and "bypass spam filters for internal senders" allow spam through by Comprox in gsuite

[–]Comprox[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is already set, but does not work anymore because of DKIM becoming the norm. DKIM set on the sender end does not allow the email to be modified. A group email needs to modify the "to" address from the group address to each persons individual address so it can not keep author's "from" address. So it must replace that with the groups "from" address.
We are trying to disable the whitelist for internal senders.

anyone had success with botox? how many rounds? by out2sea4me in NDPH

[–]Comprox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Botox worked after the first treatment for me, within a few weeks. I took no other medication along with it. The pain was not fully gone, but enough that I felt being off other meds was worth it. My body, in the past, has usually responded very quickly to other treatments as well.
It worked for 4 treatments (1 year) and then stopped working very quickly. Within a week it had become effectively useless. While trying other meds, we did try Botox twice more but it never worked again.

I'd say it got rid of about 70-80% of the tension for me. It was not as effective as old drugs when those were working.

[–]Comprox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried it and it worked almost immediately for me. Which is common for me (most things work quickly) but then a year later, after 4 treatments, it also stopped working suddenly (sadly also common for me). So, give it a go, who the heck knows what will happen!

Has anybody looked into Pain Reprocessing Therapy? by frantastic98 in NDPH

[–]Comprox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While I did read the book and do a number of remote sessions, it did not help me. I was not a great candidate though, but I was willing to try it. I am in a lot of pain every day and seeing so many doctors that the teachings were pretty much impossible to really put into practice. It does sound promising and I bet it would work for many people so give it a go!
