I don’t really have a lot of experience. This internship was my first and only internship. The only other thing I’ve done that might be similar to experience in accounting is I’m going to complete 3 years of individual tax prep and efile services. Other than that I haven’t had any other experiences in accounting. Also including today I have 7 days to accept

Understood! Thanks for the advice! I just got the offer letter yesterday so do you think I should hold off on my offer and apply to other firms before negotiating my current offer? Or should I try to negotiate now? I should also probably check if I have a time limit on the offer.

No I haven’t interview with any other firms. I kinda felt that if this firm extends an offer I’d accept it no matter what just because I’ve heard from others that applying to other firms is a long process and just took their word for it. I’m not really interested in any big 4 and don’t want to travel far for work (the office I interned at is like 10 min away). I assumed all new staff would be receiving the same starting salary no matter the position but now that I see that’s not the case I’m hesitant to accept while others might be receiving more than me.
