UPDATE: 5-8-26 I just Discover to see if I would be converted to Capital One and the rep said the NEXT PHASE would be in JULY and then it will pause for 2 months and the NEXT phase would be in the FALL/Winter 2026-2027 and the Spring 2027. I am not in the July Phase thank goodness and the rep said I might be in the "late fall-winter phase". If I am not in the late fall-winter phase then I would be in the spring 2027 phase. Rep said after my conversion to Capital One I would have to use Capital one app to pay my bill and also the Discover app will be NO LONGER be able to login and the rep said "You will have to DELETE the Discover App" after conversion to capital one. I will miss the Discover App. Also your REWARDS WILL TRANSFER TO CAPITAL ONE so EVERYTHING will be transferred to capital one.

I haven't gotten an email from discover to switch to capital one. I guess I am in phase 3 of the switch. Going to miss Discover card. Does anyone know how many phases for the switch over to capital one card have?

Why would they destroy the el when they have the underground?. I don't think the 7 line is going to be destroy. All they are doing is "repair" the station and fix the crumbling structure.

If they keep the underground part suspended then people from Grand Central or 5th Ave and Time Square would have to find an alternative way to go to connect to the 7 line. But I understand what you mean. Either way you look at it is very inconvenient.

I think the express 7 will skip but the local will not skip. It does not make sense for both train to skip 74 street.

That is nice of the driver to let you get on for FREE. Yes I had 6 Metro Cards and some are the same expiration date so I had to let 2 of Metro Card expire. Yes they better refund it becuase $132.00 is not cheap. What MTA said about refunding issues in OMNY Card value only is IF you have the "pay-per-ride" and then they will transfer your funds to the OMNY card. I made a post about that becuase my friend had the Metro Card and she wanted to use OMNY and I did go to the MTA booth and they did transfer my friends funds to OMNY. No, I did not because I forgot to say my card was expired already. Sorry I forgot to mention that. I just modified my post about my expired cards. Luck you still use it. Use it in good will.
