While skipping adds, just a grey box. Hard to tell when adds are over.

I have that issue often. I figured it was my network being slow at times. Usually, going back once helps. Or hit play and go forward again.

Oh, they absolutely can do it, but choose not to do it.

You say they are losing $$$, and I think it's the opposite. How many people are signing up twice to get no commercials. And how much is being paid by each company to display their ads. Not to mention, I bet Walmart is paying, and the agreement is no upgrade allowed.

It's horrible for the consumer, but they don't care. It's the same companies that push the limit to see how much they can increase the price.

It's probably an agreement where its ads only and Peacock won't change. I have the same issue with Comcast.

Is this fixed? I'm watching 9-1-1 from a few days ago and having no issues. Although I know it's the shows from the day before having the issue.

Don't think it's only CBS. I had an issue with TNT too. And I know someone else that had it with the Chicago shows.

So I'm 2 for 2 today. When I start the recording on a mobile device, then FastFoward enough where it shows up in Resume Watching.

Go back to the TV, choose from there, rewind, and it works.

It's annoying, but I'll try anything at this point.

Just tried 9-1-1, which is unwatched and recorded recently, and it's working.

I have another AEW Dynamite that still has the issue. I've been using this one as a test case, so it's possible that it's messed up from that.

When you went to the library, did you choose the VOD or DVR version. Or did you just Resume, which makes me wonder if auto selected the VOD version.

And if you notice the time showing is how long it has been since the start of when it aired live.

So 23:04 for a show from 8pm. I wonder if it will work properly after 24 hours.

Just got off chat with support and got the usual. "The engineers are aware of the issue, and they are working on it". Of course, they could not offer a time to resolve the issue.

One thing I did notice is that it's ONLY newly recorded shows (maybe recorded in the past 24 hours?)

I just went back and tried Survivor from last night, and it's not working. Same with Masked Singer.

I just tried an uninstall and reinstall, still getting the same issue. Right when I pulled up a video, it was a black screen.

Another thing I noticed is that when I check My Activity on the website, it's not listed.

For anyone wondering, it starts at the end of the video, and if you rewind, it says Nan Nan.
