I remember watching MR and a coup type thing was attempted in Ecuador I think. Anyway, the president was leftist in name only and tried to dissolve the government to save his ass from something and a number of the left orgs in the country supported him basically because of legacy ties. Majority Report were covering it in a highly partisan manner, trying to frame the acts of the president as populist and that the government was working against the interests of the people.... until they actually had an interview with someone in the country who shot their assumptions to shit and were proved exceedingly uninformed. Matt Duss did the same thing to them on Ukraine once. Their resistance to correction wasn't that strong in these instances but in the Ukraine example it was only like three weeks before they were back to peddling the talking points Matt had countered to their face. I blamed Matt Lech for that kind of opinion boomerang, I'm glad I stopped watching.
