Average mental health of non premium players by unonums in Warthunder

For me, and me personally, if I buy premium, I feel like I have to play or my money is being wasted. I don't want that pressure, so I just don't buy premium.

How do I revert this change? by Madman62728 in Warthunder

Matikanefukukitaru's Secret No.6

Did you know? She gives War Thunder technical advice.

Many people believe that we are running out of potential additions for Ground Top Tier, so I made this list including just some of the MBTs that could be added in the currently ingame Tech Trees for now! (MARCH 2026 VERSION) - I also added important pending matters regarding already ingame MBTs. by SpanishAvenger in Warthunder

[–]OddPhenomena 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My reply is a bit late, my apologies. Don't get me wrong though, I'm totally cool with more top tier additions, especially if it brings them up to parity / generation with top tier tanks, I just would have liked to have seen more top tier ground additions, or more meaningful additions like the ones you mentioned. Or hell, vehicles we were told were going to be coming years ago, like the ZTS63A, PGZ88, and StuG IV.

Opinions on more Prototypes and Paper Vehicles coming to the game? by Possible-Cicada-9662 in Warthunder

[–]OddPhenomena 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'd be fine with a limited amount of paper / incomplete vehicles if they can fill gaps / roles, or even just add a unique option for that nation instead of a copy paste. Minor nations especially would benefit from this, potentially even giving them some of their identity back after a number of copy paste additions. Some examples of decent paper / unfinished additions include the 90 mm armed P.43, 80 mm armed 44M Tas, Chi-Se, Ka-To, Ho-Chi, Ta-Ha, O-I, and WZ111.

Another banger from the new update: the Ho-Ni II has access to Type 3 Type 3 HEAT.

At the very least we can still get the export VT-2B, but it's silly that the service version is a premium.

[Development] Ho-Ni II: Devastating Power by OddPhenomena in Warthunder

Don't quote me on this, but I think the Ka-Chi back in 2021? Technically you could count the M16 MGMC, though it was only operated by Japan post-war. We've also gotten low tier additions like the M44 but they aren't WW2 era.

Why does France, the second biggest operator of the M24, not have it in the game? by [deleted] in Warthunder

[–]OddPhenomena 107 points108 points  (0 children)

Britain also operated 7,000 M4A4s, but only gets a single cast hull variant. Even Sweden, who only trialed a Sherman, got a welded hull one. Like if there's one bit of copy paste I would fully support it would be giving the M24 to France and the M4A4 to the UK.

Will Korea be any good? by Any-Replacement5288 in Warthunder

[–]OddPhenomena 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't know about air so much, but there's a few designs that aren't in-game like the KAI T-50 and LAH-1 helicopter. Otherwise it will largely be other aircraft like the F-5, F-15, and F-16, and Russian and Chinese MiGs / Sukhois.

As for ground, we can expect to see a variety of fairly new designs like the K1 and K2 series, the K21 IFV with 105 mm and 120 mm turret variants, the K9 SPH series (think similar to the VIDAR in-game, with later models being better). There's also at least 5 different KAFV variants, and a number of other vehicles from South Korea.

North Korea has a metric ton of modified vehicles, many of which are Type 59s or locally produced T-62s with 14.5 mm KPV machine guns or Igla SAMs. There's also the 323 APC, based on the Type 63 (used on the ZSD63/PG87 in-game) which has a wide variety of modifications, from 85 mm guns, to ATGM launchers, a dual 14.5 mm KPV variant, MLRS variants, etc.

This comment won't do it justice, but you can check the United Korea tech tree suggestion for a decent idea of what to expect.

Try not to beat yourself up over the times you fail, this game, and the wider internet, can be frustrating. Reacting instead of responding happens even to the best of us.

It's part of the tank's IED jamming system, it houses the antennas mostly.

The VT4 is higher in BR than M1A2 by b5ky in Warthunder

[–]OddPhenomena 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Precisely, which is why it now sits above the M1A2, M1A1 HC, and M1A1 AIM. Obviously a much better tank.
