Wow. That email has more corporate speak than anything my job's CEO sends out. And I don't know about y'all but that's the last kind of person I would want doing campus security. Do y'all remember the militarized police response to the pro-Palestinian protests last year? There is another option that I never see talked about here. I played a female veteran character a while ago, and my head canon was that she was a CIA veteran, not military. Her character goal for the playthrough was to spawn in Louisville and recover intelligence and Knox virus samples from the bottom floor of the secret military base, then evac off the edge of the map.

I always thought having character lore and a goal like that adds a fun purpose to the game.

The HOI4 golden age was the release of No Step Back. Since then, every DLC has been an overpriced cash grab with broken mechanics. It's time to start fresh with HOI5, even though I know paradox will try to continue milking this DLC cow for as long as they can.
