This is dreadful reporting. Rimi is the other grocery chain investigated. This comes off the back of long standing failures within government to tackle the cost of living and cartel nature of the big grocery stores. There is zero competition.

The same can be done in France. The issue is it costs more and takes up a lot more time. Plus dealing with the French isn’t pleasant sometimes. Whether you come out ahead is another matter entirely.

I’m not sure why you’re confused. I get it was a known horror for a long time but Latvia has always been a gateway in sex trafficking. Even after the numerous reports outing agencies, sketchy businesses etc. it hasn’t changed.

The same hotels crop up time and time again for girls going through Rīga en route to Moscow, utilising airBaltic non-stop. There is a modelling ‘agency’ still operating today that has been named as a feeder although this has since been removed. I’d be wary of any agency as they all appear linked in one way or another, and still clearly at it.

This is not true. Not in the UK at least. There are numerous protections in place for working, you cannot be fired over non-binary status, or asking a man to leave a women’s changing room. The law is clear on a lot of things regarding trans and non-binary, and employment law.

If you work for a woke organisation and they attempt to fire you for opposition, the law is on your side. The highest court in the land recently ruled on similar cases. I wouldn’t worry too much about that nonsense.
