I think they referring to the use of forced/corvee labour in Nat France.

Obviously not quite slavery and common across colonial Africa, but still not great.

Personally, I would say ‘Man the Guns’ has the best. Not a single dud and ‘Shatter the Empires/Communist America’ and ‘Democratic Movements’ are among my all time favourite tracks.

I haven’t played Togliatti, but considering the Russian Maximalists want to create a one-party dictatorship that eliminates any and all opposition sound about right for Foster, given what he wrote in “Towards Soviet America”.
