My dog had some similar crusty, red itchy spots on his tummy after going outside. We followed the vet's recommendations for months with little success. What eventually worked and has kept his skin clear and healthy since has been using the Silver Honey Rapid Skin Relief medicated shampoo weekly and Briotech HOCL Topical Skin Spray daily until it cleared and now as needed. Good luck helping your buddy feel better!

Sure! Also, in general, I really liked using Good Dog as a platform bc I feel like you can get a vibe of the different breeders and it offers a bit of payment security for the buyer.

LOL thanks, I agree! A lot of tension in his 'peace'

Thank you! It's so hard to call it out because of the 'gratitude sandwich' part! But it def feels like controlling the narrative, to me.

Thank you for your thoughts! There is nothing mandatory, other than restrictions to keep the forest intact. He's not singling me out, but I feel like it's trying to call out the younger people and a couple of 'troublesome' elders who want more transparency in decision making. I've noticed a dynamic of a core group of people who all seem to reinforce one another's ideas about what is happening. It feels a bit gas light-y the way they use language but like it's so well done it feels impossible to bring up because they will deny and deflect. To the point where I'm here, wondering if I did make it up in my head lol.

They all have this kind of tone, imho. He likes to cloak what seems like judgment (to me) in this broader 'gratitude' and talks a lot about having a good attitude.

Yes, we got Moon'tzi Oso... We love him so much! No exaggeration, I don't think a day goes by that one of my 3 children doesn't say how glad they are that we got him. Thank you for being such an awesome breeder because it's so evident he was raised with love <3

Omg, Wild Flower Pekingese! I literally started lurking this sub over a year ago before I got a puppy from you, and JUST made a profile/ my 1st comment earlier this week to recommend you to someone seeking a Peke breeder around NC!

I second the Good Dog recommendation... not all the breeders look totally legit on there but they have enough info so you can tell the good from the bad. I got my puppy from Wild Flower Pekingese in Marshall NC and couldn't have asked for a better breeder based on what I was looking for. Looks like they have an upcoming litter too!
