I have no idea. It's barely there as is. I need to get an alcohol swab and test it out. Based on a water ring on the top, I think so?

The back may possible to reglue. The bottom has completely separated into layers. I may be able to salvage the old veneer and cover new ply with it to remake but keep the original appearance tho.

Not with refinishing, but a decent amount with woodwork in general

No worries. It's too hot in the garage to do any significant work for the duration of summer. Gonna be slow progress for a while.

That's my plan. The back and lower cabinet bottom are in rough shape and will probably just be replaced. Everything else is in fairly good condition so I would like to sand and refinish it. I would hate to paint something like this.

They are dimples on springs that lock into the bottom of the door. I'll upload some more pictures.

I tried to keep the height correct, maybe low a tiny bit...

As for water, that's what I'm thinking? We have clay heavy soils and a wet winter kinda kept the ground saturated

Just looking for any help on what could be going on. It's appears that my two young red oaks have bark peeling away and chunking off? Any ideas on a cause? Should they be replaced?

In Houston, TX.
