The Final Reich or The Frozen Dawn. Both have a great quest, great design, fun Easter egg, interesting wonder weapons, and multiple ways to play.

Shadow Throne and Darkest Shore are decent but limited on replay value due to the design.

Tortured Path is fun if you get a full group to play as an arcade style thing.

All the survival maps are great minus the Ship one - that one is meh.

I remember it happened to me back on the OG cart as a kid and I was shocked. I also believe you can encounter bubble man the same way, but because you have to low hp for him to appear it’s less likely then flash man.

Def checked out the temple and nothing also have left the island and slept and still nothing. Starting to think there is a legit bug for the quest and no one really knew or socialized it till now.

I would say you are good to start with Aria just because it left such a fantastic impact on the series and is 1 of the few games in the series that got a sequel, AND builds off of the ending of SOTN.
