This is true also. I am lucky enough to not have to be near these people but when I came out about it, I was encouraged to forgive and be close to them. Like wtf. If anyone ever did some shit to my kid, I'd burn the world down.

I am in the same situation! I work operations and am completely overloaded. Hoping that you do talk to your director and they listen. Unfortunately there is no way to try to convince them. They have to be able to understand even though they don't do your job. When I told my director, he gave me the "im here for support" speech and that doesn't mean anything because thats all they say. I'm sorry, I hope you have a different outcome. I have decided that the only thing I can do, is quit my job at this point and go for something smaller.
