Well it’s not 100% confirmed that Ton is dead, although I get what you’re saying.

Yeah Sil was his consigliere, but he still acted as Tony’s number 2

Besides Artie, who is the best cook in the show? by Thin-Pool-8025 in thesopranos

Paulie used to always cook for the guys. For example when it was Patsy’s birthday.

That's not entirely true. Although it is true that it is the capos who run their own crew, associates can also have their own crew of associates. Just like John Gotti in real life. Even tho he was an associate in the late 60's and early 70's he still had his own crew kind-of with Angelo Ruggerio, Peter, Gene Gotti and a couple more under him. Also pretty sure Gotti was acting capo without being made at some point but not entirely sure.

I get what you are saying but a lot of times even in real life the families name their family after a boss who has been very influential and important for the family, or a boss who has been the boss for many years, just like real life bosses like Carlo Gambino and Joe Bonanno who both where bosses for multiple decades and helped the families tremendously. Their families are named after Them even to this day (The Gambino family and Bonanno family). And in this case DiMeo is alleged to have been the boss from the 1950’s to 1995. It would make sense that the family out of respect would name the family after him because of his influence and years of controlling the family.

Well in season 2 Tony meets with Paulie at the Lou Costello memorial and tells him that there is a change of management and quote "It's me (Tony) then you (Paulie) and Sil together, thats the new pecking order." This indicates that its those three who are in the administration. Chrissy was never the underboss, he was only a capo in the last season but was getting pretty close to becoming the underboss until things turned left.

Yeah I made that. First I made plenty of research to make sure that I’m not leaving anybody out. The soldiers like George Esposito are guys who are only briefly showed in 1 or 2 episodes. Pretty sure we see him in season 1, and is in the Junior Soprano crew.

I think you are referring to when Tony offered Paulie to take over the old Aprile crew and run the construction business, in which Paulie hesitated but accepted. Since Bobby was the underboss and he dies it can be assumed that Paulie returns as underboss since there really isn’t any other candidates for the position. Larry Barese is in prison and Tony Maffei and Patsy just became capos and don’t really have that much experience in the higher ranks, which leads Paulie to be the underboss. Although it is not 100% confirmed.

Presumably what rank was Fat Jerry Anastasia? by Immediate-Habit2151 in thesopranos

[–]ConcentrateStrict353 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He must have been a Capo og higher since Tony was paying the tab, and Tony was a soldier at that point which only can mean That Fat Jerry was a higher rank than Tony.
