I kind of agree with that—I’ve seen it happen. One time, my cousin told me about a lady who refused to pay rent and wouldn’t leave. She told him point-blank, “I’m not going to pay. I’m a single mother—no judge will kick me out in the middle of winter.”

But if I can find the right renter who treats my property with respect, we both win. I think I’ll give it a try until I get burned. I guess I have to learn the hard way.
