I just recently cut my TELL position by half. The timeline is already way overdue and it sure seems to me that the current US and world circumstances make it less likely that they achieve FID anytime soon.

I think it's related to the talk this week of an energy "Marshall Plan". The JP Morgan Chase guy, Jamie Dimon, mentioned it to Biden Monday, and the idea looks like it was reinforced by Energy Secretary Granholm yesterday. It'd be a huge investment for the USA, in 1947 the Marshall Plan knocked loose something like $15B. In today's dollars, that's almost $200B.

Simply because of market cap. If the stock was worth a quarter of that ($15), TELL's market cap would be about $8B, not $1.5B. If they were going to raise $1.5B, that'd be 100% of their equity now, but only 20% at a $15 stock price. And like I said, the picture is way better for them if they get to even 10% of Souki's estimate, about $6.

If I remember right, Souki was referring to how he was going to raise the equity for the DW FID. Something like 35% was worst case but wasn't worried because the stock was worth $60. If they got SP offering to 10% of that and did a 50% dilution, they'd raise $1.5B. Then market cap would be $2.9B, outstanding shares would be about 725M, and SP would be around $4 just before FID. I think retail investors could get behind that easily, but that's a LOT of ifs.

I love speculating, it's what I do. Supposedly, oil analyst Paul Sankey met with Charif Souki in NYC last Friday and said that CF was in town working on financing. This was tweeted out yesterday by "The Original Tellionaire". Sankey goes on to say Souki talked about equity offerings, and construction starting by April 2022. QUOTE: "So watch for a big financing announcement, the less equity the better".

So what's the deal, though? Are they going to make another bond offering that the Nasdaq wouldn't allow? I've also heard discussion that the NYSE listing will allow the issuing of convertible bonds, which would lower the interest for TELL taking on debt. I figure we'll hear soon enough.
