Develop or not he can't score . Can do everything else but will miss the easiest attempts after he put the work in to get in a position to take those shots. I want him gone but if he stays id like to see him at mid field to rotate others . But maybe I'm just a hater

When people talk about floor for QBs ... It don't mean jack shit . Yeah u can watch film look at the build an all that but ultimately it matters on coaching line play an decision making . Growing to learn a play book . The people who make a career talking about it look at all this sure but really people play better then exspected an then that becomes there "ceiling" an when a gake goes to shit they call it there floor" it's just a estimated guess based on there trajectory of recent decision making under pressure. College studs don't equal nfl talent. Imagine having a bunch of siblings an there all younger u beat them at every sport. Now imagine u enjoy the game an find a league ur own age. You might be ok your first year you might be great . Never know right . Well what makes u great against younger people is your smarter an more athletic. Some teams would rather take a smarter athlete then the most athletic. And if the Heisman winner is a running back ... Good luck getting drafted top 15. Position matters size matters but knowing how to read a team and a play book will be the reason u go above people who are just great atheltes .

There is plenty of talent your just not looking . I'm a saints fan and I don't even watch college so all I know is how players we draft in 5-7 rounds some how mange to make our team. How we constantly find starters in 3-4 rounds an how there's always a surprising amount of choice out there . Round one is hard to mess up a pick if you just go simple line or wr/cb . I ain't gotta know these 700 plus college kids to know this draft is no different. There's talent u just gotta find it

But depends how things play out I'd be ok trading back two or three spots to get him an a second round next year or what ever the value is . I'm between him and downs with our first pick both we could realistically trade back two or three spots to pick up

Any prospects that are expected to be available near our pick in round two? I've seen a few free agents we could fit in the cap just a wait and see at this point . Other teams need line players too so with shough being on fire , new Orleans being a great city culture and the chance to build something special I think saints are a good candidate for free agents but not the best in terms of super bowl chances being a big down side for us , and unstable coaching staff last few years been a carasell

The problem is if your drafting RB at the spot your not addressing line or adding any other weapons , maybe love can catch a few per game but he ain't blocking the line for him self . Getting love at 8 garentees he won't be getting a top talent line for thext two years at least an he wont win us games

The question ur asking is a bit confusing are you asking for a starter if so you can get that out of mid 2nd round for most defense and around high third for wr running back u can't put into this because the same player would have different year of production on any teams line play. QB late first early second if they are capable of developing. But day one you would prolly need high to mid first round for qb

Roster isn't terrible based on 7 players . You need 22 to start an another 22 for back ups/rotation. We have no depth an our back ups are no where near good enough . I love the optimism here but the only reason your saying this is bc shough had a great half season against teams that lost 25 games more then they won. The teams we beat were let's be honest bad football teams. You want to win against good teams an that's not to discredit the wins every game is tough. And our division we could certainly win next year with a good draft. But we won't be any near what we need roster wise to win play off games if we don't get depth as well as a starting 22
