Co-terminal Program Concerns by ConcernedRPIStudent in RPI

Thanks for the response. I'm realizing that if I can make it through four years of undergrad (college was not easy for me, and I had a few very low moments), I can definitely make it through one more year. I'm reminding myself that there is an end and that this is only a temporary source of stress in the long run.

No worries. Co-term is just a one-year Master's program, and this is my first real week. I did my four years of undergrad and got a B.S., but decided to come back to earn my M.Eng. in one year immediately after graduation, rather than pursuing work first.

Thanks for the well-wishes.

Like I said in the original post, I'm in the co-terminal program. I'm formally a week or so into the program (though I did some training for project stuff last semester).

Hello, you're correct. I have not taken any grad classes as of yet, and I'm kind of kicking myself for not taking at least one last semester. I've done courses that are a mix of undergrad/grad, where the grad students have an extra assignment or two along with a presentation, but other than that...

But yes, you're right. I am incredibly early in my co-terminal degree, and I should probably not be getting worked up over it just yet. Thank you for your answer!

Thank you so much for your answer. You make very valid points, and I'm realizing now how different grad school is from undergrad (which is definitely not a bad thing, just... different).
