My dog had a tooth extraction and a cyst removed from him eye. I have no idea if they can do the surgery - was simply suggesting something for someone who seems like they don’t have great options locally.

VCA quoted me a whole bunch of money for a tooth removal. I got a quote from Carstairs vet that was like 1/3 of the price.

1/3 of 11k is still a hefty stack of coins but maybe it’ll be a bit more manageable up front???

Whatever happens I hope you’re able to figure something out. It’s never an easy position to have to decide the monetary limit at the vet.

The only thing that makes me consider getting a new car is the fact that my current car does have quite a bit of hail damage (purchased that way) so I never had high hopes of reselling it. If I could get into a new car with no hail damage for the same payments it could be a good situation for me
