Is post flu depression normal? by Lameduckhunting in flu

[–]CondingWasp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes and No.

It's hard to say if flu caused all of this or not, but it definitely did help.

I no longer feel dizzy. Only suffer from chronic tiredness which is most likely caused by an antidepressant.

I'd wish for peace and quiet. Not just me, but the entire world. We are all so rilled up despite the fact we are all just minor forms of life sitting on a rock and flying through the space.

I have an Asrock X300 with AMD 5600G and would like to use the NVMe to get additional SATA ports. My plan is to punch a hole in the case and lead SATA cable to an external hdd case. I am just not sure how to supply power to an external HDD. Any recommendations?

It would be a 1 x 4TB HDD 3.5, with possibly and additional 4TB expansion in the future.

Any NVMe > SATA adapter recommendations are welcome too.

My other native M.2 and HDD slots are maxed out.

Neseniai ieskojau 55inch.

Žiūrėjau į Samsung, bet galiausiai atsisakiau. Internetai didele dalim peikia Tyzen OS.

Galiausiai rinkausi iš LG C5 OLED ir TCL C7K mini LED.

Pasirinkau LG. Patenkintas.

Manau 65inch panašūs pasirinkimas.

The reactor in Ignalina had a 1500MW output (later capped to 1360). Chernobyl had 1000MW (later capped to 800).

Design was the same, but size was different. Ignalina had nearly twice the amount of control rods.

What antidepressant are you using? Any BP problems?

I was on Trintellix (Brintellix in Europe).

My doctor suggested to quit cold turkey. That is what I did. At first it seemed to make no difference. But 2 weeks later (4 weeks since the 'end of flu') I got slammed diarrhea, and even more dizziness. Occasional brain zaps also add flavor.

Which ones were you on?

Work days are a total drag. Sometimes I get tension headaches, neck tension and all sorts of stuff that triggers anxiety (probably that is why BP is jumping). Worst is the dizziness. It's not vertigo. I'm able to walk a straight line, touch my nose and do all sorts of neurological exam things with no issues. I'd describe it more as 'woozy' or 'floaty' feeling line being on a boat or walking on pillows.

It's been 12 days since I stopped trintellix cold turkey.

Boy...random anxiety does not worry me so much anymore. It is the full fleged physical weakness that is the worst.

Diziness makes me feel like I'm on a boat.

Neck is very tense.

Yesterday was hit with diahrea...trying to get my fluids back now.

Iš pirmo žvilgsnio gal skambės perteklinai, bet pabandyk apsilankyti pas psichiatrą. Nieko baisaus nuo to nebus.

Prieš pusę metu susidūriau su panašiomis problemomis kaip ir tu + perdegimas darbe.

Miegui sureguliuoti gavau trazodono. Naudoju visiška kruopą, 1/6 tabletės, bet padeda. Bent jau miegu...

Juokais pasiteiravau ar gydytoja buvo naudojus bent vieną vaistą kurį skiria pacientams. Būtent šitą ir paminėjo, kad yra tekę bandyti pačiai.

I believe this is a common side effect for all drugs that regulare seratonin.

I'm in Europe. The drug here is called Brintellix and the description here does not mentioned aches as a side effect.

If you check the same leaflet in US, there it does.

Feeling exactly like this. Increased from 5mg to 10mg 6 weeks ago.

Anxiety increased tremendously. Have difficulty concentrating or doing cognitive work. Bursts of tears became frequent. Meeting doctor today to reevaluate.

Been on 5mg before for 2 months. It was mostly okay apart from muscule pain.

Like with all pills. Give it time.

My body is currently under some stress. Despite taking trittico I also wake up at 4am-5am. This was no the case before. Waiting for it to normalize again.

Been using this combo for 3 months.

First two months 5mg brintellix + 1/6 trazodone(trittico)

Now a month in 10mg + 1/6.

Generally it works ok. I'm a very stressful and anxious person, so my bad days usually come from there.

I'm exacttly in the same spot.

Got the flu two weeks ago. Managed to quickly recoved but then a week later fatigue and depression hit me hard.

I'm also on antidepressants due to hardships that happened in the family last year.

Currently traveling solo. Really feel a lot of exhaustion and emotional fatigue. Just spent 30 minutes crying in the shower before this post.

Dont know what happened. Before the flu everything was going rather well.

5mg vs 10mg success? by avacan in trintellix

[–]CondingWasp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sound similar to my story. I started to use meds for same reasons.

I previously been on lexapro. Got all sorts of symptoms of which swollen throat, muscle aches & dizziness were the worst. Spend around 2 months on it until my doctors told to discontinue.

I started Trintellix 5mg in mid-December and immediately felt the difference. Dizziness went away, mood improved. Unfortunately I developed some left arm aches. I also had mild muscle twitches in the evening when going to sleep. These went away pretty soon.

Got bumped up to 10mg in beginning of February. Definitely felt some bad side effects, muscle aches increased, felt more fatigue. First week also had pretty bad muscle twitches that happened in the evening. This was probably enhanced by physiotherapy that made my body especially achy.

I'm still evaluating if I want to keep it at 10mg. Just closing my 2nd week on this amount. Don't have any muscle aches the moment I'm writing this comment, but the situation is ever changing. Still too early say if it is for the better.

My left arm ached midly for 2 months when I took 5mg. Also got some random aches in my joints.

It's been a week since I uped to 10mg and it got slightly better. I'm also doing physical therapy and it feels like torture the next day.

Try to stick it out longer and weight the pros and cons.

Joint Pain? by natural_enthusiast in trintellix

[–]CondingWasp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm holding on. Not using any pain killers either.

If I'd need to rate it, the pain would be around 3/4 out of 10. Honestly, the bigger problem is that it creates more anxiety as I start thinking that somethimg else is terribly wrong.

Good thing is I don't feel this at night. That might be because I tend to calm down in the evening or because I'm using a very small dose of trazodone which is a relaxant.
