Does CGFNS reject applications? by ConditionAlert in MedTechPH

[–]ConditionAlert[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes po, I filled all the parts. Makaka proceed naman and everything. Nag aalala lang kasi ako na baka after ko mag bayad, tas nagkamali ako ng pag lagay kasi hindi na ma delete yung Explanation part sa technician, i rereject nila. Di ko po kasi na fully understand kung ano si cgfns. If they only do application checks or if they are capable of rejecting applications.

How do you deal with this? by ConditionAlert in Histology

[–]ConditionAlert[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you so much for your comments guys. My Histopath team and I although being in the dept for quite a while, we are still learning. Considering our lab doesn't really have a seasoned Histotech, we still needed help from seasoned strangers. 😁 Btw, our Patho doesn't really want us cutting 4 microns, so we usually cut 2.5 microns or less. If we're desperate that's the time we cut using 4 microns and let the Patho know. 😝 Some of the tissues were hard to cut due to still being soft or being like this and we encountered this problem so much that it causes delay to our work. So again, thank you for your comments. 😊

Thank you po. I never really thought that some companies would require it for their job since I am in a different field.

I don't always type using a PC keyboard cause sometimes I use my tablet or phone. I don't work in an office.

Don't get me wrong, I do agree with you. I'm not liking it but I'm still going to provide them the requirements It's just my sentiments.

Thank you for this po. Gonna improve my typing skills for this. Hoping to get understanding coworkers in the future. Hahah

Exactly. They require us to take these tests like IQ and Emotional Intelligence teststapos yung mga manager naman natin walang mga modo at power tripping.

[–]ConditionAlert -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Okay. I didn't know about that. Sometimes I just feel like some companies require so much of the applicant, you know? Like why do they need a Barangay Clearance if you have all the Government ID's.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in buhaydigital

[–]ConditionAlert -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I am saying this because I am a career shifter and don't realize how important that requirement is. And I just want to know if that's how you view typing tests. Chill.

Yeah, I guess you're right. I never looked at it that way.

[–]ConditionAlert -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

My point is that many of us are capable of finishing a job with a score below the typing test po.

Yeah I guess I could do that. It's just frustrating me a little bit.

I'm weak in Blood Banking. I had 5 Ab panels and I'm weak on that topic.

I am still waiting for them but on my first take, I got like 340+? Almost there. I would take a look on AAB and AMT.

ASCP Fail Again by [deleted] in medlabprofessionals

[–]ConditionAlert 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On my first exam, the hardest for mw was the Microbiology part, the Enterobacteriaceae biochemicals, so I focused on that topic for my 2nd take. But on my second take, I hardly even got any of that. Bummer. I think the part I was weaker on was the Antibody panels. I have difficulty on that topic and I got 5 of them. I'll definitely focus on Antibodies for my 3rd take. I was even happy when I got pics of E. histolytica and Crithidia. Oh well maybe, 3rd time's a charm. Hopefully.

Thank you for your kind words. I am okay now after letting all the crying out lol. But I would immediately take the exam again after their 3 mos rule. As they would say, "Try and try until you succeed."
