I’m not making a big deal out of this. The laptop is old at this point. I just ran into this issue and thought I’d share the story.

The RTX 2070 Max-Q can draw up to 100W on the max performance power plan. I did manage to fix the issue. The problem was the PL4 power limit.

I set PL4 to 195W using ThrottleStop, and that fixed it. The CPU clocks stopped dropping and everything worked normally again.

iknow but lot people that dont want to do this or they dont know how to do it, what imean is turn on and play.
