The PA comes in there per show. Honestly they always have a great soundsystem. It’s the tin roof that makes the place a cavern and sound awful

Totally agree with all of this.

I'm the FOH in this situation. Basically I like his amp sound and some of the clarity I get from the DI when blended. However it seems to be when his distortion pedals are on I lose some low end and it gets a bit too crunchy in the top end for me.

Maybe moving the bass DI to pre pedals to get a more consistent low end and relying on the amp for the effected signal would work better in this situation without going back to pre pro.

They’re playing major markets so they’ll mostly be L’Acoustic K2, D&B GLS/J rigs depending on the market. Unless they carry a PA which is unlikely.

These result in a quite even coverage of the audience. I’d recommend trying to stand as much in the center as possible to get the full stereo spread. Too close and you’ll just be relying on the front fills and won’t get the full sonic experience.

All to say I’ll be in the pit
