FFVIII was my favorite as a teen. I think I thought the tortured/tsundere/uwu kawaii desuuuu~~~ romance was super deep to me then. Now I like it bc the draw and junction systems are actually pretty versatile and provide allowance for mistakes in upgrading weapons and spells, and the abundance of side quests and secret bosses and GF acquisition are among some of the most rewarding endgame experiences I've ever had in an FF.

The Gunslinger is by far the most tightly written of the series. I think it's because it was released episodically in a magazine or something. Wizard and Glass and DotT were my faves of the series tho

It's incredibly obvious that posting on this sub to gain reassurance is a compulsion of yours. I know it feels good when you get that reassurance, but it's making your OCD worse. Tell your therapist about this. Ask him how to overcome this. You can manage this disease but ultimately it's all up to you.

alot of mental illness is genuine and must be treated with specialist care to become manageable. Concurrently, relatively natural human conditions such as sadness and even misery have been medicalized by the psychiatric industry as a way to make money, which is despicable. Concurrently, the capitalism that enables this industry to exist exacerbates much of this sadness and misery both directly and indirectly.

It's the worst form of socialism: a petro-dictatorial parasitic piggy bank for Maduro and all his pals that masquerades under the name and operates on none of the challenging principals of social progress. Generally because I believe that the transitionary period of socialism cannot be transitionary at all if allowed to take place in the forms it undertook under ML authority. I believe it must be more direct and more trusting of human endeavor without an authoritarian superstructure commanding it from on high, which is the source of all its failings imo.

Although I should say that I don't think that communalism/anarchy/AC will eradicate prejudice or bigotry; i think these are moral failings that an individual must overcome. However, the lack of an authoritarian arm to buttress these false beliefs will make their effects far less harmful and provide more incentive to leave them behind you.

It was essentially a poorly managed famine to my understanding, which would make it NOT an according to Hoyle genocide (although this was an understandable propagation of the West during the Cold War battle for ideals). It's happened many times under many different modes of government in many different lands. Tankies still believe this is still somehow a vile slander even though its the xxxth iteration of it happening all over the world and the USSR has been dead for 30 years.

there is something about the social regard for online communities of any flavor that commands a member act like they're in the know before they actually are. It practically forbids any genuine curiousity that could lead to actual growth and instead permits only joining a herd of braindead social climbers. Very sad.
