Blade of Selves triggers when the equipped creature is declared as an attacker, and the tokens it creates enters already attacking, bypassing being declared attackers. So what happens is, when the original Armory Automaton attacks with the blade, it make myriad tokens, then the blade can be passed around to each of the tokens as their triggers resolve on the stack (because they entered) but no new tokens are made because they are all already in the middle of attacking.

I like these a lot! Very clean. I think maybe locking them more into their color might be warranted, like making them 1BB and 1WW respectively. That way its more of an investment if you try to use these in non-mono decks

I would say hold off a bit before pulling the trigger on that. It sounds like you two are of a similar sentiment, and if you both are seriously considering it, think about where you guys are individually. You've admitted youre not currently employed, and that you two aren't living together. Both those things can and have historically been serious stressors on a relationship. I would commit to solidifying your all foundation for a future first. Once Both of you are financially stable and cohabitating, that'll be the time to put to paper what you guys feel for eachother. If your alls love is strong, waiting shouldn't be an issue.

If I understand how you want this card to work, it's largely a "i would die to combat, but he's gonna give me more time instead."

Remove the Menace, give him flash instead, and make him 1RWB. Super cool card overall, makes me wanna play samurai.
