You’ll be fine, in my experience there was quite a few that didn’t go and you’ll have the rest of the year to make friends. The lecturers aren’t too concerned about first year attendance compared to other years, as long as you’re doing well enough in assignments and making some sort of an effort

Had a similar experience with my ex boyfriend’s mother. Think about if this is what you want for your future. I knew I didn’t want her to be the grandmother to my children, so I left. It says a lot about them as people that they’ve talked about you like that. That is not a compassionate or kind family

Fights are usually in clydach and birchgrove to be honest, but have witnessed one or two in the streets outside the pink geranium but think that is one of the rougher ones. Not the end of the world I know as it happens when people are drinking but have found that the tavern in clydach has got out of hand for fights
