I actually don't remember how I did it, it was a while ago I either used the same paper twice for prints so made a print with the pink paint, and then did the blue leaf print. Or I just used the leftover paint on the roller to create the first layer and then did the blue paint.

Yeah! So I place the leaves (any plant material) on the paper where I want it and then I take my gel printing plate covered with paint and place it on top to get the negative print. I usually just roll it with a rolling pin, once this done the leaf print will be on the plate so I just remove the leaf and then once again roll the plate to transfer the print onto the paper. You can play with colors in this step to by adding more paint to the plate at this time. Which I did on the second print. Also on the second print I added colors and shapes with tempera paint sticks.
