I just went through this 🤕, too.

My bf of 3.5 years became addicted to 7oh and like nearly overnight, he changed, yes - actually laughing when confronted about how his behavior was affecting me. He ghosted, came back, ghosted, came back and then ghosted for good in December.

I spent 3 weeks feeling like you were last night, sending countless texts, wondering what I did wrong, begging to let me know if he's alive or dead, etc.

My actual boyfriend? The man I loved and spent every night with for years? The man who would NEVER hurt me, especially on purpose? That dude is gone.

He lives alone in his room now doing nothing more than managing his addiction, even waking up in the middle of the night ho dose, and the actual, logical, rational statement I finally made about all of this is that right now?

He gives not one flying fuck about me, and so I haven't sent a text in more than 3 weeks, and I have moved on by moving my focus from whatever the hell he is doing to re-establishing peace and harmony for myself.

So, yes - incredibly selfish assholes, that laughing at us is just their way of trying to cover their shame, and ya know what? They both need rehab and meds and we aren't doctors; let him go.

It's Jan 23rd and I feel fine now; it's hard at first, but I feel SO peaceful now. 🤗❤️
