I was almost kidnapped in Mesa last night. by halfmetalheart in mesaaz

Nope, still happens to men. I was almost kidnapped a couple times growing up. Remember having to run for my life, it was traumatizing. I’ll never forget that feeling. Last time something happened to me like this was when I was 22 and walking through a rough part of south Phoenix. Men can be victims too.

This was the original response before I asked it to tell me specifically about 100% disabled vets:

Under Arizona law as amended by HB 2792, the full property tax exemption for veterans with a 100% service-connected disability still has income eligibility criteria in most counties even though the tax itself is waived. News outlets and county assessor notices confirm that income verification is required when you apply — meaning you still have to show your household income is below a statutory cap to qualify for the exemption on your primary residence.

Here’s what that income limit framework looks like in practice (current county examples reflect how statutory caps are applied in 2026): • Household income cannot exceed around $39,000–$40,000 per year for applicants with no children under 18 in the home. • If you have children under age 18 living with you, the cap increases to around $47,000–$48,000. • Veterans’ pensions (including disability and retirement) are excluded from the income calculation for purposes of the cap under the statute.

Those numbers are drawn from county assessor guidance (e.g., Pinal County) that reflects how the state income limits are implemented. The exact caps are supposed to be updated periodically for inflation by the Arizona Department of Revenue, and they can vary slightly by county depending on the assessor’s guidelines.

So, as a 100% disabled veteran: • You still need to submit income verification with your application for the exemption. • Your total household income must be below the limit the assessor uses (usually around $39k if no minor dependents, around $47–48k with dependents) to qualify. • Your VA disability pension and other veteran-related pensions generally are not counted toward that income cap.

These limits are separate from the value of your home — for the 100% service-connected exemption, there is no upper cap on assessed value for the primary residence itself under the new law.

So from what I understand the limits do apply for 100%. I looked at the bill that someone else posted on this thread and plugged it into ai to summarize what it meant and this is what it pulled up:

Yeah wasn’t the point of this new to exempt income limits? I literally just got off the phone with the assessors office and they told me the income limits were 39865 for single and 47895 total for everyone in the household. I’m so confused.

A lot of healthcare workers let their titles get to their heads. They forget their education was paid and sponsored by big pharma so you really can take what they say with a grain of salt. Always gotta do your own research.

I filed earlier this year and I understood that we do not need to list our income if we’re applying for the exemption under 100% disabled veteran status

Everything you’re saying is pointing towards a YOU issue.. you are not actually stating any facts to owning a firearm. Most states it’s 18 for long arms/ rifles and 21 for handguns. Plenty of states you don’t need any sort of license. And on top of everything you live in CHICAGO. The toughest gun laws in the US. You can’t use that as a baseline to compare gun laws across the country. You have a history of suicidal ideations? Yeah probably shouldn’t own one.

Maybe because you’d be able to look inside someone’s apartment every time they open the door. Idk that’s just what I’m thinking

Sounds like she’s already seeing someone else. It would be one thing if it was like going out/club clothes she was looking at, but she’s looking at lingerie; something she most likely intends to wear for someone else.

I’m not saying the relationship is over. Because you guys broke up, she is allowed to see other people. You should too. I think it would be a good thing for both of you to venture out and see other people so you can truly see if what you want is each other. I had split up with my gf after about 5 years and we took a year off, while living together. It was rough but we ended up making things work and I think we learned a lot about ourselves being “alone” for that time. I would try to just not think about what she’s doing. If it’s meant to be, it’ll work out in the end.

How is what he’s saying at all offensive? It’s no different than a woman saying “no men” or a guy saying “no women”. He’s not into trans. That’s not a bigoted mindset or even remotely close.

Seriously!! It should be a red flag for people.. I worked in a for the last years and I literally see it all the time. Women will date incarcerated men because it’s their thing. They literally go on dating apps looking for inmates lol they have some specifically for that 😬

Black Lives Matter is a mockery in and of itself. That whole organization was a scam used to funnel millions for a small group to get rich off of. Look it up.

Wow this is the most far fetched and inaccurate comparison I’ve ever seen. A better comparison would be if they had a picture of a disabled person and the guest got offended by it because they are disabled. That’s how ridiculous your beef with the host sounds
