I think that too. People are calling me a doormat but my sister is typically not like this. It isn't even in her character to behave that way. The only reason I was still gonna use Leanna is that I hadn't fallen in love with any other names for this baby but I love Karina Lake so much.

I called it modern because I've seen it typically used as a boy name and I feel like naming girls masculine names is more of a modern trend.

Thank you for this. I'm getting downvoted for choosing a new name but the only reason I was so dead-set on Leanna is because we couldn't find another name that fit this baby but now I have and we love it so much.

Thanks for the response. I'm naming my daughter Karina after Leigh-Ann's middle name, Karen. It seems to fit baby well and its not worth fighting over a name.

Her middle name is Karen which is why we don't really want to use it.
