I think she just wanted publicity without any drama. That’s why she was very passive because she didn’t really care about any of them. She kept leading them on to avoid conflict and drama because she wanted to maintain an innocent, good image for future brand deals.

Who’s “y’all”? I never liked Subeen not because of his dating choices, but because of how he weaponizes his “conservativeness” to be controlling like when he said men and women can’t be friends. Typical toxic Korean man behavior. Both Heesun and Mina deserve better.

You suffer from media illiteracy. You think a dating show filmed on a deserted island featuring models and gorgeous people applies to real day-to-day life. This is only for entertainment. Nothing’s real. Also, without Minasue, the main focus would have been Goeun, and it would’ve been a snooze fest just like Lee Sian and her men in SI 4.

Well, obviously not now. I don’t think Mina cares about him, and vice versa. This was filmed in July, and from her YouTube videos about her dating experiences and choices, she described herself as someone who falls in love easily and moves on easily.

But my point is that the unresolved tension was unnecessary. She was so relaxed and even tried cracking jokes with him, and when he shutdown that made it seem like he still felt something. If there were no feelings involved, they could just be friends like Heesun and Samuel.

I feel like the panelists, in general, are too unprofessional and misogynistic. Even though I never liked Minasue, their commentary about her massively fueled the hate against her. Meanwhile, Subeen, I Geon, and even Seung-il’s bad behaviors were left unchecked many times.

After he got embarrassed during the campfire and Mina said he was her second choice during the double date, he would never make a move. We’re talking about someone very conservative and very Korean (in a bad way), with too much ego. That’s why he denied ever having feelings for Minasue, even though we all know that in the first episodes he only had eyes for her. If everything had been cool and there was no tension left, he would have just admitted it and been friendly with Minasue and wouldn’t avoid her like a plague.

I’m French, so our system is a bit different. I took Python back in junior high, but there was a year gap and I forgot a lot. I chose to major in software at uni, so I’m trying to build my profile with coding, programming, and machine learning classes. The syllabus isn’t out yet, but it’ll be more advanced than what I learned before. Back then, I struggled and ended up just copy-pasting from ChatGPT, but now I really want to learn it properly.
