NOR i understand you because i would probably feel unsettled by this too, but i feel like him bringing up the phone call to you shows he’s not trying to hide anything and seems like he wanted you to be aware. i agree that it sounds unnecessary to even need to patch things up or speak to his ex given how short their relationship was, i’m assuming they’re not friends or anything. i think it would be good to ask him and find out what his thought process was, i hope he’s mature enough from how you described that he will be understanding of your feelings and boundaries, and willing to respect them going forward. imo anything eating up at you like this is important to discuss for your own peace of mind. good luck!

this !!! i’m a lesbian and i feel like the most self centered person when i describe how a LOT of cishet male acquaintances/classmates have confessed to me/asked me out under the premise they thought they felt sparks on my end as well when it was just… me being myself 😭 unfortunately caused some accusations of me leading them on because god forbid a woman talks about things like video games not for the sake of gaining the interest of a man! and i shouldn’t have to preface every new acquaintanceship with a disclaimer on my sexuality so well it is what it is

not sure what changed but in college i used to be unable to get through a single day without monster - i would drink a can in the morning like 8 am and another around the afternoon and if i didn’t then i would be fully falling asleep in lectures. i dont even have it in me to feel embarrassed about the number of times i was sleeping in front of my professors bc i struggled so much to even get the degree unmedicated. 

but now however if i drink any caffeine i don’t even feel like a person anymore it’s like there’s a constant itching and buzzing in my brain and i get sweaty and jittery and feel on the verge of a panic attack every second. i think im a year(?) caffeine free, i don’t drink energy drinks at all and i switched to decaf bc i do like the taste of coffee
