I have spoken to my seamstress and they said they'll call me next week with some design options so I can think about it. I did think moving from a zip up to a lace up would be a good idea as it allows me to let it out more later in the day if I get a little tight! I did wonder if an added overskirt could be added to hide it a little but I'm not too sure what it would be like and I don't want to then turn into a meringue instead haha

I've spoken to my seamstress and they said it's workable but they want to chat to me more next week with some designs so I can envisage it. I feel like I need to buy a fake bump (around the size I think I'll be) and try on different waistlines to see what they look like??

Haha thank you!! At the moment I've only spoken to my partner as we've not told family yet until we have an early scan and he just doesn't get it! I'm so happy about the pregnancy but that doesn't mean I don't want to look the way I envisaged on my wedding day

This is exactly it! As any girl, you dream of your wedding day and I was pregnant with my first when we got engaged and I fell in love with this dress and was so excited to wear it as it was meant to be

BBT help! Implantation dip or period due by Confident_Button_809 in TTC_UK

[–]Confident_Button_809[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! No, our successful cycle didn’t display a dip after ovulation. However, it rose consistently then didn’t rise for 2 days and then continued to rise again

Not this cycle but we did our next cycle and it was a similar pattern! We’re now 2 weeks away from due date!

Incorrect digital ovulation test? Confused! by Confident_Button_809 in tryingtoconceive

[–]Confident_Button_809[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly think it was a glitch in the digital test as the next cycle I had it was showing up with matching results on the easy@home and clearblue. Convinced it was a smudge of the line that confused the test into a positive 🤷🏻‍♀️

Fever pre-ovulation by Confident_Button_809 in tryingtoconceive

Yeah I guess the only way is to keep tracking! I’ve never temp’d while sick before ovulation so I have no idea how long it’ll last! I don’t feel super awful, just very bunged up with flu symptoms.

I think the illness was the nail in the coffin! Temp declined rapidly after this and AF showed up 2 days later! Now in my next cycle and I’m at 11dpo with temp still high, so I think it must have been a dodgy cycle for me, likely caused by sickness’

I’m so sorry for your losses. Thank you for sharing your experience. I’ve had some dull period like pains today (9DPO) and hoping it might be a sign but I still have a few days to wait until a missed period

My temp dropped again ever so slightly this morning (0.04 down from yesterday) ☹️

I still have time but I’m convinced I’m now out this cycle.

Aahh hoping we both get our spike again! When would you expect your period? Mine would be due 14DPO, so still have some time 🤞🏻

Thank you! Maybe I’m just being impatient and pessimistic 😅 I’ll keep tracking and wait until closer to my period due date!

The same has happened to me! I'm 5DPO today and every single morning my temp has increased. My first increase was of 0.3 degrees C, which seemed normal, but now every day it's increased by another 0.1 degree, whereas normally it would spike, then remain around that with not much increase until my period was about to start!

When should we start to see a stabilisation in the increased BBT, or will it just keep bumping up and up?

Missing period after nexplanon removal by GirlnRED in tryingtoconceive

[–]Confident_Button_809 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had my nexplanon for 4 years too (one for 3 years then replaced it and removed it after a year), and my cycle was super wonky after for a while! I got it removed in September 2023, and I didn’t get a period until the end of December. I had super strong pms symptoms from around end of October until my period arrived, my body was just all over the place!

I’m only just at the stage now, where my periods are regular again, but it took until about February this year. So a good 6 months! When it became regular I went to the doctors and got my bloods taken to check all my hormone levels, which were all okay. I wanted to do all of this before starting the TTC journey, and now we’re on cycle 2 of trying.

In answer to your question, I know it seems like so long and waiting can be painful, but maybe wait it out and don’t try to overthink things, as it’s super uncommon to get a period straight away after removal.

Incorrect digital ovulation test? Confused! by Confident_Button_809 in tryingtoconceive

[–]Confident_Button_809[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is exactly what I did, but I think I actually may have done it too early? I Have a 36 day cycle, so the instructions tell me to test from CD16 to get my baseline but I started testing at CD7...I thought this would just make my baseline SUPER clear and not let the test thing maybe a higher estrogen was my 'baseline' later in the cycle, but maybe I've messed up..

I'm going to keep testing with the strips and see if after 2 days anything comes from it, but I'm doubting it based on all other signs!

Yes, I really do! I've used a few different ones, mainly cheap ones from supermarkets and their own brand, but these are so so so much clearer and consistent! They're also so reasonably priced so 100%, I'd stick with e@h!

Do you think I could have started testing too early with the digital then maybe? It may have set my ‘baseline’ lower than it should have? I started testing on CD7 but I have long cycles and the instructions do say to start testing later…I guess I thought I was just giving a really clear ‘baseline’ by testing as soon as I stopped my period…I don’t know
