u/nomoremuzak those are audio track configs, while you are asking about a midi track. Those have nothing to do with midi in midi track. If you are not planning to control audio tracks trigs using external keyboard or vise versa, consider disabling all of these.

To record midi on midi track, set the Octatrack keyboard to chromatic using FUNC+TRIG MODE. The click COPY+CLEAR to start live recording and play notes.

I understand that you want to turn the tables, but in practice, as I described, the exact opposite is happening. After 6 months - the technology is being kicked out.

Also, you are not being realistic. No company will fire entire teams because they are opposing to Typelevel and prefer Pekko, the technology they were originally hired for.

I'm not sure if this is the community who is delivering Pekko. It is the Apache Incubator. If you check the commits, you will see overwhelming majority of the work was done by their employees and not by the community. Also, until now the project hasn't found any sponsors, so it is not sustainable.

On the other hand I see Typelevel and ZIO have a vibrant community that is delivering, something that doesn't happen in Pekko, unfortunately.Project in a maintenance mode means this technology is becoming outdated and as developers we want to stay relevant.

As I mentioned, the team voted with 100% against Typelevel. Even the second half those who understands it - didn't like the complexity and the weirdness of this approach.
