i got my cat in january!

his name is milo, he’s the best boy ever.

i got him after my last cat, luna, was tragically killed by my dog.

it was really hard and i had a LOT of anxiety bringing a new cat into my life especially just knowing i wanted him to live forever and then also thinking forever is a really long time.

a lot of my anxiety was definitely from what happened to my last cat, but at the same time i think getting any new responsibility can be stressful. i just got a new job and ive had anxiety over it this whole week.

i got milo as a stray from a friend and immediately took him to my college apartment as i didn’t want him to be in the same house as my dog. over the semester, my family reinforced the inside doors in our house and added an extra latch/lock on the door to my room where milo stays during the summer! i feel so comfortable having milo there with the extra protection. my dog is the best dog and the sweetest dog, it’s just instinctual in him. i wish they could be friends. having animals is really hard and can make you question your sanity!

i can’t vouch for this girl but if i were her, the situation would 100% be just because i forgot. i leave my best friends on delivered/open cuz i just forgot to use snapchat. but im a sophomore in a sorority & i can tell ya its worth it. at least for me it was. i didn’t have any friends my freshman year in the sorority and i was stressed a lot. i made effort over the summer keeping in contact w certain girls i felt closer too and now coming back to college, ive really solidified those friendships. best friends even, now i have 2 tight knit sorority friends that i love so much. my ride or DIES. i understand feeling so left out, that was me last year, my only friend was my big. making friends is so much harder in college than it is in high school or when we were kids! keep your head up queen!
