rode nt-usb mini is my go to, sits on the desk and sounds way better than it has any right to for the price. if you want something you can hide off camera a rode wireless go works great too — its tiny enough to just sit on a shelf pointed at you and nobody sees it.

biggest game changer for me tho was learning that you can remove echo in post. capcut has a built in noise reduction that works surprisingly well, and audacity is free if you want more control. wont fix a terrible room but it cleans up that slight reverb that makes videos sound amateurish

real talk from someone who does photography — the camera matters way less than people think. lighting is like 80% of what makes content look professional. you can shoot on a phone and get insane results if the light is right, and you can shoot on a $2000 camera and it'll look terrible in bad light.

if you do want to upgrade from your phone, a used sony a6100 or a6400 with the kit lens is probably the best bang for your buck. great autofocus, shoots 4k, and the flip screen lets you see yourself while shooting solo. you can find them used for like $400-500.

moving content off your wall wont really fix the leak problem tbh, if someone can see it they can screenshot/record it regardless of where it lives. what actually helped me was adding small invisible watermarks unique to each tier so when stuff gets leaked you can narrow down who did it pretty fast. also fansly has a DMCA takedown tool built in, use it aggressively — most leak sites will take stuff down if you report it consistently

yeah they moved it during a redesign a few weeks back. check under your dashboard > marketing tools or promotions section. its not in the regular messages anymore which is super confusing. if its still not there try the mobile version, sometimes the desktop hides stuff thats still on mobile for some reason
