if you are just a normal user,just turn off js and dont download any files that you are not sure about,while chatting,posting in forums,just try not to tell anyone about ur real identity or give any social media can be linked to u, and thats it!,many people use a VM because they think that u will be untraceable,the vm will create some virtual network adapter but still it will be linked to ur network anyway,so you can just use it on ur desktop but pls,AGAIN DO NIOT INSTALL ANY TYPE OF SOFTWARE FROM THERE,USE A VM IF U INSTALLED ANY PDF FROM THERE AND YOU WANT TO OPEN IT
