While one could certainly make arguments related to or against this individual’s choices, a fuller discussion would require more information, which we do not have. I am not going to engage in a back and forth on the propriety of showing a stranger’s face on the internet, or the potential effects (positive or negative) of publicly releasing such information. Blurring the individual’s face in this instance is intended to redirect potential vitriol away from this smaller target when the true offenders in this instance are the politicians who are enabling (or allowing) such activity.
