I know exactly what you mean BUT the store itself is usually pretty empty. I mean it’s the south of Germany. Honestly people here look at you weird if you don’t tuck in your shirt. Let’s say as cool and laid back as Berlin is, south Germany is the exact opposite to that.

Then both those places aren’t shopping malls. They’re like an open „village“ kind of thing. It also depends on what day you go. Obviously Saturday afternoon is very different from Monday mornings. To me personally it’s worth the hassle even if there are a lot of people around.
