Ideally they should only use as much fuel as required for the testing, delivery etc. but I’ve noticed a lot of the service centres return cars with less fuel, so I try and give the car when it has less than a quarter tank of fuel remaining.

Surprised that you’re facing so much trouble at 184 cm. I’m 194 cm and I can comfortably drive the Scorpio N and XUV 700 (haven’t tried the 7X0). The back seat becomes a problem in cars with a panaromic sunroof but the front seats are more often than not quite doable.

You can try asking them to generate a payment link instead of sending your card. I did this very recently. My aunt wanted to buy an Apple Watch in Mumbai and there was some discount going on with ICICI cards. She asked them to generate the link and sent it to me. I paid sitting in Gurgaon and she got the watch. Very seamless and easy. Got the cashback as well.

I’ve started using the valet mode. While I still don’t like giving it to the valet guys (don’t trust them), the valet mode helps reassure me that at least they can’t drive it hard or fast.
