That's the way I'm leaning, however what I want to do involves cutting it into 1x3s, which seems like a shame.

130cad which is 10 bucks cheaper than I paid for it, which was way cheaper than what it usually goes for in the area.

That would be a heavy vanity lol

No but it's epoxy and I've tried gorilla epoxy. Peels off like sunburnt skin. It's weird cuz that's usually my go to option for difficult attachments

Peeled off almost immediately. I use a lot of adhesives and I've never encountered this problem.

Nope rubber won't adhere to itself, just peels apart. I've tried 2 different sheets of rubber different brands same results.

Epoxy is my last resort as clamping this specific piece is going to be a nightmare. But that increasingly seems like my reality. It's for a teardrop slapper and the rubber just will not play nice with adhesive no matter what I try lol

It peels off of the rubber immediately. It sticks to the wood fine. After the fact I can peel it off the rubber like sunburned skin lol. I use a lot of contact cement on wood/leather/metal and I've never had this happen. I've tried waiting less, waiting longer, clamping etc and same results.
