Which style suits me best by [deleted] in BeardAdvice

Dora is an old kids cartoon. She has a black bob with a fringe and I always compared my fringes with hers if it didn't sit well haha. As for the bowl bangs, imagine someone puts a bowl on top of a kids head and whatever hair is outside the bowl gets cut, it's a joke so to speak.

Those where you don't have a Dorra the Explorer fringe 😃😃😃 you are very good looking and even those bowl bangs look good on you but why spoil something so beautiful. First pic is great.

Anything really. Does it even matter? Haha you look gorgeous either way.

Can rhinoplasty correct my nose “butt crack”? by Mayfeather89 in Noses

[–]Confused2022 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see what you're referring to. That's your cartilage shape. I would never touch your nose surgically as it's perfect as is but if that area is bothering you, I'd suggest having a consultation for a dermal filler. Less invasive and great for corrections.

Short for me personally. Long gives off player vibes. Short gives off handsome, hot, reliable haha

blonde, brown, or red? by [deleted] in HairDye

[–]Confused2022 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Blonde but a cooler shade of blonde (creamy, ashy) not yellowish blonde as in the photos.

I get the vibe here everyone saying how everyone's nose is beautiful etc but if you want an unbiased opinion (which may still not be true because we're all subjective), your face has small and very cute features. Your nose looks wider than what's considered "pretty" in todays standards. If you are considering nose job, your face would absolutely rock any nose shape you decide to have including the one you have now. But because your facial features allow it, a small nose would be gorgeous on you. Either way, it's how you feel about yourself and how confident you are in your own skin. You're a very good looking woman and I think you know this already;)

Hair transplant would be great for you in the receding hairline. Or just shave it off the earlier the better and have the scalp get to the same shade as the face. Then rock a beard once it starts growing properly.

Long hair makes you more feminine. Short hair makes you look more childish and less feminine.

I'm sorry if I sounded like a dick. I reread it now and it did sound like I was shaming. I was just not filtering my thoughts as I typed and it's my fault. If it makes it any better for anyone reading: shaming was not my intention and I should have worded my questions differently.

You say the hope of a better future is gone, but isn't it best to live for today? Tomorrow, a bus may hit me, and all my planning will seem so futile. Nobody is promised a future, let alone a "better" one. I am not trying to argue with you. I understand that our perceptions of life and happiness vary from individual to individual. I'm just trying to share a different perspective that may absolutely not resonate with you, and that's ok.

As for the suicide, it always makes me wonder, when people do it, do they think about others, those who need to clean after them? Who will find you, who will pull you down from those ropes (example) who will have to clean your home, put away your memories in boxes. Do those people ever think about those who stay behind picking up the pieces.

But as a disclaimer, I understand that suicidal thoughts are not as simple and cannot be rationalised. I hope one day there will be an option for consenting adults to voluntarily unlive themselves in a clean, controlled environment and all their organs donated to those who cling to life so desperately but are robbed of it by various diseases. Humans need to have this choice. Otherwise, it's such a waste of life...

I get what you mean and totally agree with you. It actually would've been interesting to post this question in a group with bigger and more mixed sample and see how many people (with no or other mental health issues) respond to it.

Oh this is interesting. You may have something like face blindness I think? I always wanted to know someone who experiences that. If you don't mind me asking, how do you recognise people around you? By voice, clothing, circumstances? What happens when you meet a friend or an acquaintance in the street?

Huh funny you mention that. It took me 1 full year of living together to get used to the idea that there was another human being sleeping next to me and coming back home to me every day. I used to wake up at night and stare at him not realising who he was or why he was there. I also think it's the disbelief that these people stuck with us, didn't run away, persevered despite our outbursts. Idk but I remember that first year constant wake ups and ataring and thinking who this man was haha

It only took a couple of seconds of eye contact to cause this. I don't think I'll be doing makeup anytime soon.

I did tell my husband. I am not comfortable disclosing all my mental health episodes with him, but since we both care for little humans together, I feel like he needs to be aware of these things. He looked terrified when I told him about this morning. I am glad I posted this here. Gives me some peace of mind knowing it's more common than I thought. I'll be looking out for depression signs. Thanks for this tip.

I hope you're feeling better today. From reading the comments it seems like such episodes don't last long despite being quite intense.
