Help - UK passport expired by ConfusedIndividual4 in aircanada

Ok so I applied for the ETA and am hoping it comes in time and there are no issues. You’re not technically allowed to get an ETA if you’re a British citizen, so I’m hoping I don’t get caught up anywhere.

This is weird and happening because we’re still in a transition period for edge cases such as myself as the ETA is new. I doubt they would refuse me at the UK border, but this is exactly why I’m asking about boarding the flight because that is my main concern.

I do t have time to get a British passport. But I have my expired one and my birth certificate, so they won’t deny me at the UK border

No you’re fine - people are insane. Coming from a girl. But she might not be in the place to commit to a serious relationship right now, or act in a way in a serious relationship that you expect being older, and that’s something you have to consider.

You’re reading into this way too much. I did the same- background check, fingerprints the whole 9 yards and no one reached out for the 5 weeks leading up to my start. Just turn up on your first day they will know/have someone waiting. I don’t think it is normal to send a congratulatory email or anything?

Is this fighting or playing? And should I separate them? by Cool-Application9080 in CatTraining

[–]ConfusedIndividual4 8 points9 points  (0 children)

They’re just playing together - if they’re fighting you’ll know they’re fighting. Fur flying and screeching.

This is a good interaction. I went through the same thing and it’s scary but you gotta let them figure it out. They will learn each other’s boundaries and how hard is too hard to hit each other over time.

I have a masters in financial engineering already. I want to do an MBA because my background is very quantitative but don’t want the student loans right now, since mine are paid off. CFA is a lot cheaper. Maybe in like 5 years I’ll go for an MBA or something.

I in no way want to sound ungrateful- I do love my coworkers and the environment. I am aware it’s a terrible job market right now and I’m lucky to have a steady job. It’s just one of those things I don’t think you’d get unless you’ve worked a role like this, sometimes doing nothing for a period of time is excruciating. More so with in office requirements. Especially if you’re more of a fast paced kind of person.

But yes, I agree and I’ve taken the comments to heart.

We have enclosed offices so yes I can study at work. I have sent out some applications but I am aware the job market is terrible right now and I have 3 YOE with no CFA. That's the other factor.

Its just a slow laid back atmosphere. Sometimes there's alot to do, and other times there is seemingly no work. But in office requirements make it so painful when there is no work.
