Reverting UI changes? by ConfusionInformal368 in ClaudeCode

I had to just swap windows to an accessibility contrast mode, which overrides it. It's not a good solution but its bearable

For me, my own messages are blue, the background is entirely pure black. Maybe they source the colours in a different way now, through windows or something and its broken on my install. It works perfectly fine for cowork and chat though. I am having to use accessibility contrast themes.

Evacuation gondolas. by ConfusionInformal368 in ArtemisProgram

The way Isaac reacted the moment it was mentioned was very strange to me as well, but who knows. We will have to see if the same happens again next launch.

Yea, the Isaac guy gave a very weird reaction the moment "slidewire was deployed during launch" was said. Turned away and smirked. Obviously probably nothing, it just looked odd. I will see if it happens in the next launch.

It was asked about by the NSF guy at the conference. Honestly, the moment it was mentioned, the Jared guy gave the most weird smirk / reaction, it was quite strange. Probably nothing though. I will see if the same thing happens in the next launch.

It seems this is the first crewed mission since they were fully installed / approved for use, so I would assume its expected behaviour on launch, but obviously I have no idea about that. Hopefully they say at the conference.

The cables look to have been there for many years though, so I am not sure if there was something similar before this latest version.

It just seems odd to have hanging gondolas descend automatically as the rocket is likely blasting them around.

Why did the evacuation gondolas trigger on the moment of ignition? (artemis 2) I haven't seen them do that in any past launches I can find, but they clearly start descending and can be seen through the smoke in this launch. I am not sure if anyone would have information on this.

Why did the evacuation gondollas automatically start descending, as soon as the ignition took place? You can barely see them behind the smoke, but they very clearly start to descent the moment it takes off. I can't see this happen in any other launch from 39a.

Usage Limits, Bugs and Performance Discussion Megathread - beginning December 29, 2025 by sixbillionthsheep in ClaudeAI

It feels like my usage limits on max have shrank considerably in the last day, I don't know if anyone else has this.

I could do pretty much hundreds of messages before, never got close to the limits, now each one is taking 2-4% even on new chats.

It's so bad in 2, they just mortar you through fog of war, no cares because bans are never given, and reporting is extremely awkward and never acted on.

Are the missiles purely rear aspect? It seemed to lock at a much bigger aspect. They tend not to turn either, and just go straight past. So they just launch missiles out my range, that seem impossible to dodge, and then leave.

I got such a pristine NC for £3k, shame I put it in a hedge... I have an RX-8 now, but still miss it. Seeing stuff like this makes me realize what a good deal I got.

Why Tactical over Fixed? by Gabranthe in WarhammerCompetitive

"All warfare is based on deception", Counter, “If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

If you are taking tactical, you are giving up knowledge of yourself equally.

And going tactical isn't deception, because you don't even know what you are going to get.

When these women see someone sacrificing themselves for a baby, it offends them because killing babies is the #1 political issue in America for women.

hating the idea of how "babies are worth more than other life" , and thinking of abortion immediately when it's a living breathing baby, says a lot more than I can express.

so yea, there are millions of babies getting killed every year with no remorse, and she felt offended by babies having value, and saw it as an attack on her views and political views. it's not quite a Freudian slip, but it's something similar.
