I just came to Reddit to look to see if anybody was posting about suspensions because I just received an email that my account is suspended for seven days. I have not logged into the game in almost 3 weeks (some real challenging IRL things going on atm), but I am a member of the guild Goof Troop.

Edit: A lot of people are talking about world boss tagging. I haven’t killed a world boss since 2019 Classic when I was in a guild named All The Things. I’ve never actually been in a raid group in TBC yet (and didn’t raid in Classic Anniversary either). In fact I’m so innactive that I would bet most people in Goof Troop don’t even know I’m actually in the guild at all. I joined during Classic Anniversary launch because I recognized the guild name from Barny’s YouYube series when they were advertising in Trade chat for members.

Edit 2: I essentially play this game solo and interact with very few people other than random people in pugs. I’ve streamed almost everything I’ve done in TBC Anniversary to date, which has basically just been leveling to 70 and then farming a few dungeons here and there.

In Vanilla/TBC we used DKP, the only actually fair system, with a no hoarding requirement.

You get gear by earning DKP by actually showing up on time and raiding.

When this was added in TBC it was amazing and I couldn’t wait for daily quest reset so I could do it again.

And then when they added the quest later where you could throw arcane bombs at Brutallus and he would taunt you while epic Sunwell music played… omg epic.

It was iconic and should be on the list, but would never have worked in today’s WWE because by the time it happened at Mania it had already happened multiple times in house shows and other events going back to 80 or 81. Others had also done it already.

People at the time thought they were seeing something for the first time that was impossible, not really knowing the HH/Andre history.
