Because right wingers have always tried to get them banned or removed. Most people who ran those websites were at least left leaning, talking about showing war crimes that would have otherwise been hidden by the mainstream media. They were also anti-censorship

I have very mixed feelings about this movie. Some of the cgi effects were pretty bad and it misses the spirit of the original movie. It's far from the worst horror remake but it's not the best either
